Coltene recently launched BRILLIANT Crios reinforced composite blocks designed for chairside manufactured permanent inlays, onlays, full anatomical crowns and veneers for Sirona’s CEREC CAD/CAM system.

The blocks feature the benefits of a submicron hybrid composite material for reliable, esthetic, fast restorations without an additional burning process, according to a press release.

The controlled industrial production provides the reinforced composite blocks with optimal mechanical qualities.

The blocks also feature flexural strength with low brittleness and a shock-absorbing effect, making them well suited for implants. The wear-resistant, resin-based composite blocks can be easily polished and adjusted at any time.

Safe luting can be achieved with ONE COAT 7 UNIVERSAL and BRILLIANT EverGlow, or with dual-curing cements such as SoloCem and DuoCem, depending on the application.
