Ultradent’s Jiffy Universal System is a finishing system for high-strength ceramics. All of the adjusters and polishers in the Jiffy Universal System work interchangeably on porcelain, lithium disilicate, and zirconia. The Universal Extra-Oral Adjusting and Polishing Kit and the Jiffy Universal Intra-Oral Adjusting and Polishing Kit contain an optimal number of components so you can efficiently adjust and polish any ceramic material to achieve a truly smooth surface with a natural-looking finish.

Extraoral Adjusting

​Jiffy® Universal Coarse Grinders (Green) are recommended for grinding down sprues and gross adjustment. ​Jiffy® Universal Medium Grinders (Yellow) are designed for adjustments of lithium disilicate, zirconia, and feldspathic porcelain.

​Recommended speed: 8,000–12,000 RPM


Extraoral Polishing and Finishing

​Jiffy® HP Universal Wheels are designed to be used on axial walls, proximal contacts, and cusp areas.

4236 Jiffy HP Medium Universal Wheel (Dark Orange) is used to pre-polish.
4237 Jiffy HP Fine Universal Wheel (Light Orange) is used to create final polish.

​Recommended speed: 7,000–10,000 RPM

Intraoral Adjusting

​Specifically designed particles of hybrid diamonds adjust all ceramics and minimize heat generation.

4087 Jiffy Fine Football is used to adjust occlusal surfaces.
4086 Jiffy Fine Round End Taper is used to adjust contacts.

​Recommended speed: 15,000–20,000 RPM
Use copious amounts of water.

Intraoral Polishing

​Jiffy® Universal ceramic polishers are formulated to polish all high-strength ceramics in a simple two-step system.

4108 Jiffy RA Medium Universal Point (Dark Orange) is used intraorally to pre-polish on occlusal and labial surfaces.
4234 Jiffy RA Medium Universal Cup (Dark Orange) is used intraorally to pre-polish on cusp, labial, buccal, and cervical areas.
4109 Jiffy RA Fine Universal Point (Light Orange) is used intraorally to create final polish on occlusal and labial surfaces.
4235 Jiffy RA Fine Universal Cup (Light Orange) is used intraorally to create final polish on cusp, labial, buccal, and cervical areas.

​Recommended speed: 5,000–7,000 RPM

Final adjusting and polishing can be made intraorally using the Jiffy Universal Intra-Oral Adjusting and Polishing Kit, which provides optimal smoothness and a high-gloss finish.
